At the start of the process in 2016 our Simulation consultancy began together with our coproduction partner LMJU working with academic staff to develop and deliver simulation to students. Service Users and Carers then adopted one or more roles based on their own lived experience of health or social care services including MDT’s.

This was carried out in LJMU’s state of the art “simulated patient community” and took in the immersive simulation with the ability to embody a character in order to fulfil learning outcomes.

The use of ChangesPlus Ltd’s lived experience actors is extremely important for learning and assessment and to enhance communication.
